Making health care affordable and accessible has been the objective of the Trust ever since its inception. The Trust has initiated several activities that benefit the rural and urban poor.

Ashok Shruti Memorial Hospital is a charitable hospital operated by the Trust. Considering the high maternal mortality rate and the unstructured care for women, this hospital focuses its work on Anti Natal and Post Natal Care. It provides economical or free facilities for childbirth for both Normal and surgical deliveries.

FOCUS AREAS OF THE TRUST IN HEALTH CARE
Medical camp: An annual camp is organized in which medicines for various treatments, which would have been a burden on patient or her family, are provided for free from any charges. This camp start from the 5th of August every year and last for 2 months. Every year, about 200 women who would have been subjected to traumatic and life –threatening childbirth at home get a opportunity to bring 200 children into this world in a clean / hygienic facility under full medical care and supervision
   
Medical awareness programme: Medical, Dental and Eye checkup camps are regularly organized for the general public for which specialist doctors are invited to the hospital. During these checkups the patients are diagnosed and treat for general ailments also, are advised on a better and healthy living.
